About Chinese Government Scholarships
To apply for a scholarship, you need to be aware of these details about Tianjin University (Tianjin University):- Tianjin University only offers scholarships to students who are already accepted at the university
- University of Tianjin University offers two types of scholarships: bilateral scholarships provided by the Chinese government through the Chinese Embassy; CGS University Scholarships - which is specifically for graduate Masters or PhD applicants
- There’s no application fee required for scholarships unless applying to graduate programs at the university. You'll need to pay an application fee for any Masters or PhD programs at the university, but not for all other undergraduate courses if applying directly through Tianjin University
- You can apply for multiple scholarships so long as all schools you are applying to offer that particular type of scholarship. Some schools cannot be applied simultaneously, so do your research!
- One thing worth noting is that if it's a full scholarship in both category A and category B, it covers tuition, accommodation and insurance plus an allowance every month!
Before Filling The Application
To apply for the types B category scholarship through CSC you have to first go to Tianjin University.is It does not recommend many students for this scholarship, only those who score high on academics. It is very competitive and getting one of these scholarships requires everything to be perfect. - Look up the different scholarship options and how they are funded, whether fully or partially; whether they are renewed annually;
- Find out what program requirements TJU has. Different universities' requirements vary in competition level too;
- Talk directly with a university counselor about their opinion on your plan
Eligible Students
In order to be considered as a scholarship recipient by Tianjin University, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:- Be a non-Chinese national
- Sound mind and healthy body
- Different programs have different age requirements. For the Master program, you cannot be over 35 years old and for Doctoral program, you cannot be over 45 years old. You also need a bachelor's degree to qualify
- Not have another scholarship already granted to you at other universities to qualify for consideration from Tianjin University
- Applicants should not have been nominated from another university or institution as a candidate for the CSC scholarship
Filling The Form
To apply for our CSC scholarship, please first create an online account on the CSC website. Once you’ve completed the registration process (providing your contact details, academic background and other required information), you’ll be able to complete our short inline application form. Note that you can only fill out one scholarship application per account; since many of ours are available for specific programs, please create your new account focused on whichever program interests you.Once eligibility requirements (including academic performance) are met, selections will be made based on essay quality and financial need. Though all field of study programs offer some level of assistance towards tuition fees, not all types of awards are available for every student; make sure to choose which scholarships best suit your qualifications before completing the application form.
Once submitted, a copy will automatically be saved in our records and a confirmation email sent to inform you when we’ve approved or declined your application. If necessary please take a hard copy with any other official documentation in case we require it later in the process.
Maximize The Probability Of Winning The Scholarship
With a competitive pool of applicants, it is important to submit on Tianjin University's application requirement to increase your chances of securing the coveted CSC Scholarship. Here is what you need to do:- Check on the university website for forms and required documents - these will vary by institution. Beware that some universities may ask for more than just what you also put forth for the CSC Scholarship itself.
- If this applies to any institution of interest, submit with all relevant documentation up front, instead of submitting just once before waiting months for them to verify your hard copies.
- Double check that any additional recommendations are also sent in at the same time, as it increases your chances significantly!
China Scholarship Council Application And Results Time Frame
When you apply for the Tianjin University (TJU) scholarship through pre-admission, CGS online application form is submitted by April, selection made by TJU happens around May – June and scholarship granted at around July-August so that classes can be joined in September.Good luck with applications!
